Members of Crowlas and Ludgvan W I were joined by Gillian from St Buryan W I for a day of creative stitchery with tutor Jane Powell. Jane took the ladies step by step through the design and making process of a three dimensional embroidered Echinacea flower. Everyone finished the day an expert in working French Knots and enthused by the novel way of combining thread and ribbon embroidery. Many thanks to Val for organising the workshop and for baking a delicious cake.
