Ten members of Crowlas & Ludgvan WI got together at the Murley Hall today for a day of needle felting.

From complete beginners to the more experienced, everyone got stuck in with their needles and fleece to produce beautiful items. Tutor Jo McIntosh guided us through the basics, then the stabbing of the fleece began, with only a few pricked fingers along the way.

Starting with small flat pieces, our confidence grew and we progressed to 3D animals including several ladybirds, hedgehogs, chicks and even a little pig.

Many thanks to Val for organising the workshop and for the delicious cake.
