A gentle start for our first walk of 2018 – only 3.5 miles, 1 hill and no muddy lanes to navigate! The weather was kind too – mostly sunshine but very windy.
We set off along the lovely level King George V Walk in Hayle, up the hill to Phillack and onto the Towans. Here we felt the full force of the wind but this was more than compensated for by the fantastic view of the coast from Godrevy Lighthouse to St Ives and further along St Uny Church, Lelant. Eventually we arrived at the North Quay in Hayle and back to King George V Walk . As usual we finished the morning with food in the Riviere Cafe.
In light of the current Coronavirus Covid-19 situation we have taken the decision to postpone our monthly meetings. If members require assistance they should telephone any committee member or contact us at email@example.com
