I think we all enjoyed last night’s talk by Janet Axten about Tom Heron, Alec Walker and Crysede. For those of you who’d like to learn a little more, do consider a visit to the St. Ives Archive office. They’ve got a big binder full of Crysede-related photos, old newspaper advertising, etc. It’s fascinating stuff!
The Archive is located upstairs above the Parish Rooms behind the War Memorial Gardens just opposite the church, and is open from 10am-4pm, Tuesday through Friday. It’s got lots of information for anyone doing genealogical research or just for people interested in local history and has a massive collection of lovely old photos of St. Ives.
